OUR MISSION

The mission of Growing Together Preschool, Inc. is to provide affordable learning and developmentally focused child care services to families of infants and preschoolers. The nature of the services is educational and therapeutic, with emphasis on inclusion.

Children enrolled in Growing Together Preschool are placed in an integrated classroom setting with their typical and non-typical peers to learn and “grow together.” Integration is simply the placement of children of varying abilities in the same program and attending to the individual needs of each child. The benefits of inclusion include:

Children learn the variations of normalcy.

Reduction of negative attitudes and stigmas associated with different abilities.

Children learn to work and form friendships with other children with varying abilities.

Growing Together Preschool has been a model-inclusive early childhood education program for the state of Kentucky.

The program serves families with children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
